City of Boulder Adopts New Commercial and Residential Remodel Codes

On Nov. 25, 2008 Boulder City Council adopted Ordanance No.pdf 7621 amending the Green Building and Green Points Program (See the news release ).  The code amendments require increased energy efficiency in new commercial construction and residential remodels and additions.

The new requirements went into effect on March 2, 2009 to allow the development community time to incorporate the changes into their business processes.

Project Spotlight

First LEED Platinum House Colorado

EcoBase Provided R95 roof and R50 walls in Colorado's first LEED PLATINUM residence.  This net-zero-carbon house will generate enough energy to offset its construction. The SUPER INSULATION was achieved using 2 Pound Closed Cell spray foam.
