ebase Is A GEO Qualified Contractor

The Insulate Colorado Program is a collaborative effort between ClimateSmart, the Center for ReSource Conservation,the Governor’s Energy Office, Xcel Energy, And local governments of Boulder County.

The Program has changed.  In 2009 Xcel Energy and the Governor’s Energy Office offer insulation rebates, however you cannot receive both.  Please read through the following to determine the correct insulation rebate for which you are eligible.  If you have questions, please ask your insulation contractor or call J.C. Martel at 303-999-3820 x224 for information on GEO’s Insulate Colorado Program or 1-800-895-4999 for information on Xcel Energy’s insulation rebate program.

GEO’s Insulate Colorado Program:

Program Details

  • Rebates cover insulation in attics and/or exterior walls, and air sealing
  • Rebate are available to Boulder County customers of any utility provider, except for  Xcel gas customers who have a pre-installation R-value of R-20 or below; If you have an R-20 or below, you must apply for Xcel Energy’s rebate (see below for details or ask your insulation contractor.)  
  • Rebates cover 20 percent of the cost of the insulation and air sealing, up to a maximum of $300
  • Rebates are first come, first served
  • You must use a GEO qualified contractor
  • Rebates are only for installations begun after January 1st, 2009
