Installing or upgrading your home’s insulation is one of the best investments you can make in lowering your energy bill. If your insulation is not sufficient for where you live, you may be losing up to 25% of your heating or cooling energy.

About the program

Our Insulation Rebate program offers our natural gas customers in Colorado rebate incentives for installing insulation in their homes, including insulation for attic, wall, air sealing and weather-stripping of residential homes. Rebates equal to 20% of the total cost of the insulation and installation up to a maximum rebate of $300.

Program requirements

To participate, you must be a residential, natural gas customer in Colorado.

Eligible installations include:

• Attic insulation and bypass sealing to an R-value of 38 or greater
• Wall insulation to an R-value of 13
• Air sealing and weather stripping

All projects must have a pre-installation R-value of 20 or less to qualify. Installers must be qualified contractors who are fully licensed, bonded and insured. If you install the insulation yourself, you will not qualify for a rebate.
